Introducing Our Expanded Formulation Support Services for B2B Partners

formulation support · dosage form · B2B partnership · product development

Excerpt: Innorex is expanding its formulation support offering to help B2B partners move from raw material selection to finished dosage form faster.

Many of our B2B partners come to us already knowing which API they need — but formulation is where projects often slow down. To help close that gap, we’re expanding our formulation support services to give partners more hands-on guidance from raw material selection through to finished dosage form.

What’s Included in the Expanded Offering

The expanded service adds structured support at three stages of a typical formulation project: pre-formulation compatibility screening, excipient selection guidance, and small-batch trial coordination. Partners can now request compatibility data between a candidate API and common excipient categories earlier in the process, which helps avoid rework later when a formulation doesn’t behave as expected at scale.

We’ve also added a dedicated intake process for partners who are still finalizing their dosage form strategy, so our team can suggest excipient options based on the target release profile — immediate release, sustained release, or specialized delivery formats — before a full formulation brief is locked in.

Why We Built This

Feedback From Partner Teams

This expansion is a direct response to feedback we heard repeatedly from partner formulation teams: sourcing decisions made too early, without formulation input, often had to be revisited later. By bringing formulation guidance closer to the sourcing conversation, we’re aiming to reduce the number of sourcing changes that happen mid-project.

Smaller partner organizations in particular told us they didn’t always have in-house formulation expertise for every project, and were looking for a sourcing partner who could offer more than a raw material catalog.

How to Get Started

Partners interested in the expanded formulation support can request it as part of any new sourcing inquiry — there’s no separate application process. Our team will scope the level of support needed based on the project stage, whether that’s early-stage compatibility questions or support ahead of a scale-up trial.

We see this as a natural extension of the sourcing relationship rather than a separate service line, and we’re planning to expand the offering further based on how partners use it over the next few quarters.
